The four-day school week

Empty ClassroomI’m sure some students think it sounds too good to be true.

With schools facing budget cuts, some districts are implementing a four-day school week to save money.  How much money?  Annual utility costs can be cut by 10 to 15 percent by simply eliminating one school day each week.

Usually, it is the hopeful student that fears receiving a dreaded rejection letter from their choice college.

For some schools, the tides have turned.
